The BBC are stating the perfectly bleeding obvious a little with their clickable guide to a fixed wheel bike (a Chris Hoy track bike actually)?
Does anybody really not know what the main components of a fixed wheel bike are? Okay, so not everybody understands the difference between gears, single speed and fixed wheel but I reckon most people know what bike wheels look like!
Oh, my wife says I’m being way too critical as the clickable guide explains to novice cyclists why the wheels don’t look like normal spoked wheels. Maybe she’s got a point – what do you think?
